UVLED curing equipment has gone through the process of continuous development and improvement. The production process with mercury lamp irradiation as the mainstream has been adopted for a long time. However, due to the expensive equipment, high maintenance costs, rapid attenuation of UV light intensity, the surface temperature of the irradiated elements, large volume, expensive consumables, pollution and other defects, the industry has been committed to improving, but it has been difficult to break through the limitations of the original hardware.
The advent of UVLED has brought revolutionary changes to the UVLED curing industry. It has the characteristics of constant light intensity, excellent temperature control, portability and environmental protection, as well as relatively low purchase cost and almost zero maintenance cost, which has promoted the quality improvement of UVLED curing process and energy conservation and consumption reduction. UVLED point light, line light and area light have been applied to various industries. We believe that with the joint efforts of the whole industry, the future UVLED curing industry will have a new world of environmental protection and energy conservation.
What are the characteristics of UVLED curing machine?
Service life
Compared with traditional UV curing equipment, the service life of mercury lamp is only 800-3000 hours, and the service life of UVLED UV curing system is 20000-30000 hours. The LED mode can be turned on instantly only when ultraviolet light is needed. When DUIY=1/5 (preparation time=5, irradiation time=1) is pressed, the service life of the LED mode is 30-40 times that of the mercury lamp mode. It reduces the time for replacing bulbs: it improves the production efficiency and also saves energy. When the traditional mercury lamp curing equipment is working, the mercury lamp must be lit all the time due to its slow start and opening/closing, which not only causes unnecessary power consumption but also shortens the working life of the mercury lamp.
No thermal radiation
High power LED does not emit infrared ray. The surface temperature of the irradiated product rises below 5 ° C, while the traditional mercury lamp UV curing machine will generally raise the surface of the irradiated product by 60-90 ° C, resulting in displacement of the product positioning and defective products. UV LED curing mode is most suitable for plastic substrate, lens bonding, electronic products, optical fiber and cable and other heat sensitive and high-precision bonding process requirements.
Environmentally friendly and pollution-free
The traditional mercury lamp curing machine uses mercury lamp to emit light. There is mercury in the bulb, which is very troublesome for waste disposal and transportation. Improper disposal will cause serious pollution to the environment. The LED curing machine uses semiconductor lighting, which does not cause environmental pollution. Therefore, the use of LED curing machine is more environmentally friendly.
Super illuminance
High power LED chip and special optical design are adopted to make UV light reach high precision and high intensity; The UV light output reaches 8600mW/m2. The latest optical technology and manufacturing process are adopted to achieve a more optimized high intensity output and uniformity than the traditional mercury lamp irradiation, which is almost twice the irradiance of the traditional mercury lamp irradiation, so that the UV adhesive can be cured faster, shorten the production time, and greatly improve the production efficiency. When the traditional mercury lamp point light curing machine increases the irradiation channel, the increase of the channel will reduce the output energy of a single irradiation channel. The LED type irradiation is adopted, and each irradiation head emits light independently. The irradiation energy is not affected by the increase of channels, and is always kept at the maximum value. Compared with mercury lamp, UV LED shortens the exposure time of operation and improves the production efficiency due to its super concentrated illumination.
Low energy consumption
The effective luminous efficiency of UVLED mode is more than 10 times higher than that of mercury lamp mode.
